Maintenance
Nettoyage : Use soap or mild detergent and wash in warm water using a cloth or a sponge. Rinse with water and allow it to dry in open air. Do not use strong cleansers.
Storage : We strongly recommend that you store your product in a warm temperature location during winter. We also recommend removing the excess of water that may insert the tubes, because frozen water could split your frame during winter.
Caution : We recommend store your cushions in a dry place away from direct sunlight after use. At windy conditions, never leave curtains of your gazebo closed or leave your umbrella open. We also recommended to remove your swing canopy during a windy period. Do not place warm or frozen items directly on table top. Any accumulation of snow should always be removed on all hard top gazebo.
Wooden product : Pre-oiled wood is highly weather-resistant. However, when wood remains outdoors for some time, its color can gradually fade to a shade of gray. To preserve the original color and prevent small cracks, it’s important to clean wooden surfaces with warm, soapy water (such as dishwashing liquid) and apply a good quality oil (available in stores) specially formulated for garden furniture (ideally applied twice a year). If you maintain your furniture properly, it will last longer.
Cushions, rugs and throws with PET yarn : This material is perfectly resistant to water, sun and dirt. Products made with PET yarn are an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor use. Yarn does not absorb liquids or spills, such as coffee, red wine or outdoor dirt. Wipe up spills and stains with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a little foaming hand detergent. Then simply hang them up to dry. Losses and pilling are normal and can be easily removed with a razor or by carefully trimming with scissors.
Rugs : Frequent vacuuming, without brushes, will keep your rug looking new and beautiful. Frequent vacuuming is recommended. Avoid powerful vacuum cleaners and hard-bristle brushes, which can damage the rug. If the rug is placed outdoors for long periods in the rain, it must dry properly between uses. Rug fibers can eventually deteriorate if the rug is not allowed to dry. Use an underlay to protect your rug and floor. It also acts as a non-slip surface. Rugs are not machine-washable. Avoid pulling on the rug when heavy furniture is placed on it, as this may damage it.
PS wood : Clean any stains as soon as possible with hot soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. In the case of stubborn stains, use very fine sandpaper and sand the entire wood batten, always sanding in the direction of the wood, then clean with soapy water and some bleach, using a soft brush or sponge, buff with a soft cloth and leave to dry. Be careful not to use an aggressive product, which could damage the finish, and note that sanding only part of the batten could make the finish uneven.
Frosted glass : Use a wet cloth to remove excess dirt from the glass surface. Change to a lint-free microfiber cloth. Using this new cloth, soak it in warm water and create a lather over the cleaning paste of your choice, we recommend Norwex or Pierre d’Argent Pure Brite. Then rotate the glass to clean thoroughly. Once you’ve lived and thoroughly cleaned the glass, rinse the cloth with hot water until no cleaning product or dirt remains on the cloth. If you have a second lint-free microfiber cloth, feel free to use it. After rinsing, remove all residues of cleaning paste. You may need to rinse your cloth several times, depending on the size of the surface.
Extension table : To ensure the longevity of your table, we ask you to apply PL100 or M55 oil at least twice a year, or as needed, to the extension opening mechanism (slides). During winter, keep your furniture under cover, as freezing water in the pipes can damage the frame.
